All of the images in this series are taken in Midland or Northern UK cities and all buildings were occupied at the time of capture. They were all taken within the last 5 years. Whilst industrial areas are not designed to look picturesque per se my intention, by utilising careful composition, is to show a more aesthetically pleasing side. The best conditions are overcast skies to avoid harsh shadows and high contrast, surprisingly more difficult than anticipated in the UK. Time of the week is also an important factor, with Sunday being by far the best day due to lack of people and parked vehicles.
