This Looks Shady

DSC_0050

Sometimes photographic subjects can be found in the most unlikely of places. In this example I was walking back to my hotel through the car park. When I looked up I saw this fascinating pattern created by the partial shutters which are there to shelter the cars from the heat of the day.  Yes, even cars in Southern California need shelter from the sun!

  1. So it was actually a long way to capture this wonderful pattern (going to California…). Stuart, you’re globe trotter capturing abstract geometric constructions, from La Defense (the stairs and the silhouette) to the heat of Doha and the snow of Anchorage (I presume …). We are travelling on your side, feeling the minimal abstract sense of the sensible world p-)
